Dr. Divya Muthappa was born and raised in Clarksville, Texas. She moved to Dallas, TX, where she graduated from The Hockaday School, a prestigious private all-girls school. From there, she completed her undergraduate degree at Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts with a double major in Biology and Environmental Science and a minor in Dance. She went on to graduate from St. George’s Medical School followed by Internal Medicine Residency at Hahnemann Hospital/Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. While in her final year of residency, she wed Dr. Dayani and together they moved to his hometown of San Antonio, Texas. They have two amazing daughters and one incredible son, who are already planning to become doctors themselves one day. Dr. Muthappa’s hobbies include snow skiing, dancing, traveling, and spending time with her family in both Texas and India.
